How can we help?

The questions we get asked most. If you can't find the answer, write to us: a real person replies.

How it works
How does Accumunation work?+
You buy together. The more people book the same product in the same period, the lower the price goes. The final price is the same for everyone: booking first doesn't mean paying more.
Can the price go up?+
No. While bookings are open, the price can only go down or stay the same, never up. Every new booking brings the next milestone closer.
Is shipping included?+
No: shipping is calculated at checkout, based on where it's delivered, like in any online store. It's not part of the group price.
What if I book and then don't pay the rest?+
There are two different cases. If the group doesn't form, you pay nothing: the held amount is released. But if the group forms and you don't pay the rest within 5 days of closing (after two reminders), the order is canceled and we keep the 5%: your spot helped bring the price down for everyone and then sat empty. This is also stated at checkout.
What do I get for inviting other people?+
Every person who books with your code brings the price down for the whole group and gives you 5% of the full price in credit (for example €1 on a €20 product). In the first group buys it's worth double: 10%. The credit becomes yours when that person completes their purchase, so you can use it from the next group buy on. It's yours and it doesn't expire. The price stays the same for everyone: credit is a separate thing.
Deposit and payments
How much do I pay up front?+
Nothing today. When you book, 5% of the full price is held on your card: your bank sets it aside, but it doesn't leave your account. It becomes a payment once the group reaches the minimum number of people, and it's taken off the final price: it's not an extra cost.
What does it mean that the deposit is held?+
Your bank sets that amount aside and holds it: we don't collect it and you haven't paid it. It works like a hotel or car rental hold. If the group forms, that amount becomes your deposit. If it doesn't, it's released on its own. It may show up on your statement as a pending amount.
When do I pay the rest?+
Within 5 days of closing, at the price the group reached. Until then, you've only paid the 5%.
Can I get it before the group closes?+
Yes, once the minimum number of people has been passed. You pay the rest right away at that moment's price and we ship it, without waiting for the end. In exchange, you give up the milestones unlocked after that: your price stays what you paid.
Can the price I see get worse?+
No, never. The group price can only go down. If someone leaves or their card fails, the price already reached stays: we cover the difference.
Is payment secure?+
Yes. Card details are handled by Stripe, and we never see them. When you book, your bank sets aside 5% of the full price and holds it: it doesn't leave your account, and it only becomes a payment when the group reaches the minimum number of people.
Delivery and guarantees
What if the group doesn't form?+
You pay nothing and there's no refund to wait for: if the minimum number of people isn't reached, the held amount is released on its own.
Can I change my mind?+
The held deposit is a commitment: it saves your spot and brings the price down for everyone. If the group forms, you complete the purchase at the price reached. If it doesn't, you pay nothing. For special cases, write to us before it closes.
When does the product arrive?+
Within the time frame shown on each product's page, before you book. The maker ships it as soon as the group closes and the rest is paid.
